MS Word AutoText

MS Word have many useful tools which are not frequently used. One of them is AutoText option.

With AutoText you can insert directly in your document some often used expressions or parameters. You can open it directly from Insert menu item:

As you can see there are many frequent used expressions, but also dome parameters. See Header/Footer menu item with - PAGE - , Page X of Y and many others. When inserting these values they are dynamically replaced with their values for current page or document.

Another useful thing is that you can define your own expressions here - see Insert -> AutoText -> AutoText ...

You can add here your own texts, easy to insert in many other documents.
